Modern Design Takes Shape in an Unexpected Place: The New Nantucket

Alan’s featured project, the Cosgrove Residence, is a private residence on the island designed by his former firm, HFP/Ambuske Architects, Inc., as Architect of Record, together with Bill Blunden, FAIA, as Design Architect and London-based Constanze Von Unruh as Interior Designer. Other featured participants represented architectural firms based in Massachusetts, New York and Washington, D.C.

This comprehensive exhibition, curated by Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman of workshop/apd, celebrated modern design and the island’s culture as an unexpected setting for modernist form.
