Designed a new, 138,000 square foot, three-story building on the main campus with flexible laboratory space to accommodate future growth and technology advancements.

Cleveland Clinic

The project consisted of the relocation and expansion of four major labs; the block on the building’s south side provides service access, and the second floor aligns with the bridge level, allowing future expansion to the south.

The PLMI building was designed from the lab bench outward focusing on ergonomic and LEAN design principles within the laboratory spaces.

The building’s east-west orientation maximizes the long building elevations to admit day lighting, minimizing the need for sun control measures. Organized and efficient floor plans allow for 90% of work spaces to have views to the outside.
